With all the "authoritative" Crock reported by the D League techblabbers and A League mainstream noizemakers, I'm grateful that we have at least one reputable Weblab like TechCrock, that affords me the opportunity to set the record straight in a civil environment, especially before such an elite group of TechThink opinion makers. Here's what really happened:
I warned those Yahooz.
Three f__king months went by and not a single blotch from their Yapoop. No attempt to engage in a constructive dialogue. No counterfluffer. They just didn't get it... They have this internally regressive and totally unrealistic self image. And their self valuation? Omigod... .... It pains me .... especially after all we did for their stock price.
I'm a numbers guy. I knew exactly what we were willing willing to pay. Microstuff's ECC (Elete Crunching Corps) had been creating and tweaking algorithms for months. We had the number pegged precisely. We were willing to pay $44,693,375,275.26 and not a dime more.
So I put the offer on the table. Yerry Jang looked at it, looked at Roy Stockprice, .... looked at David Filex ... they had some kind of thing going on..... secret signals ... Then Yerry winked at David and scribbled something on a napkin and slipped it to me. It read, "How bout $44,693,375,275.37?"
That's was it!
I knew this deal was ... so..... not going to happen. So we calmly looped the laptops .... and I summoned the entire Microstuff team .... We fell into our lines .... and marched military lockstep out the door. Once out of sight I calmly put my fist through the nearest wall.
I swear that's what happened and nothing more. Anything you read anyplace else is Crock!
This is so not over. Will we be back in six months? ... stay tuned.
